Training
To promote sea safety, it is the aim of the company and its trainers to pass on a wealth of knowledge and experience.
The nautical world can be by its nature a dangerous enviroment. It is important not to let this put you off, but to respect the sea and appreciate its potential. Once you have realised this, along with learning some key information, you will begin to truly enjoy it.
Having the ability to plan ahead and to make the correct decisions is vital. It is Proform Marine's aim to teach you the necessary skills, so that you can enjoy your boat and the sea with confidence.
Security
Proform Marine's security staff have the experience and knowledge to understand the current threat in Britain. It is our aim to secure our clients' ships and their crew when in the Clyde estuary. We aim to assist in keeping the Clyde safe and for it to remain a key place for cruise liners, and merchant and naval shipping.
The marine security side of the company has first-hand experience in nautical security. The team operates with proven military procedures and we constantly train our staff and update our tactics. We understand that every task is different. As political tempers flare, our procedures must be responsive to enable us to adapt quickly and effectively to new circumstances.
In securing an area Proform constantly makes risk assessments. Should we deem that a situation poses a threat we will act accordingly, using the minimum force required, to keep control of the area.
