Cancellations Prior To The Booking:
Proform cancellations: If Proform cancel for reasons other than weather, then a full refund will be given. If Proform cancel due to weather then Proform Marine and the client will come to a mutual agreement for rebooking another date.
Liability: Proform Marine reserves the right to charge clients 100 percent for any loss or damage to property or equipment incurred through fault, negligence, or malicious actions of the clients.
Arrival Time: All persons attending boat-related activities with Proform Marine should aim to arrive at least 1 hour before the course starting time. If you are coming the night before and plan to live on the boat, you will be greeted by a member of the Proform team at the Proform-Clyde Sea Recovery office at the Holy Loch Marina. You will then be shown to the boat and given a Living Aboard safety brief of the vessel and shown to your cabin.
Safety Information: If you are bringing your car and plan to leave it at the marina for the duration of course, then you will be shown a safe place to park. Parking is free and secure.
All Safety Equipment Is Included: Proform Sea School's boat Fairline Squadron 43 is coded to CAT 3 and carries all required safety equipment on board. Life jackets are supplied and must be worn at all times on the water. Proform Marine asks that each person brings their own:
Experience: Proform caters for all levels of ability. Ensure that you have booked yourself on the correct level of course to suit your ability. Contact the office at Proform Marine for advice on the course for you and our confirmation of your suitability.
Alcohol and Drugs: Alcohol and drugs are forbidden during or before activities. If any person participating in boat-based activities is suspected by Proform Marine instructors to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs that may affect their ability to carry out the activity safely, individuals would be taken alongside, removed from the boat, and left at the nearest safe location.
General Safety: No children under the age of 18 are allowed to participate in any of the Motor Cruising Courses when training with Proform Marine.
